The Blood of Olympus

For my Independent Reading Project, I’m reading The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan, the fifth and final installment in the Heroes of Olympus series. It starts out with a slower-paced scene, which was nice because it’s been a while since I read the previous book in the series, and it gave me time to refamiliarize myself with the characters and the plot. Practically every chapter ends in a place where you’re compelled to read the next page, if not the next chapter. I couldn’t put it down! There’s a lot of humor in it too, which I enjoyed.
